The teams traded missed buckets and Ohlone had a chance to win the game in regulation. With 8.9 seconds on the clock and Ohlone with the ball on the baseline, the Hawks held tight on defense forcing the Renegade into their last timeout. Jason Augliera made sure the bank was open late as he hit a 3 from the top of the key to put HawkNation up 6 with just over a minute left. From there, the mettle of HawkNation proved to be too much for Ohlone, as YOUR Las Positas Hawks came away with the 88-79 win.
The Hawks were led by: Peter Hewitt (17), Jason Aguliera (17 on five 3’s), Anand Hundal (15), Alvon Marshall (14). The Hawks are back in action this Friday on the road against Foothill with a 5 pm tip-off.
