Title: Assistant Men's Soccer Coach

Craig Scheer is a former professional soccer player born and raised in Cape Girardeau (MO). Prior to signing a professional contract he was a 3 time All American at Lewis & Clark Community College and at the University of Illinois Springfield. His successful collegiate career culminated with an invite to the prestigious Umbro Senior Bowl in Ft. Lauderdale (FL). Scheer was drafted by the Hershey Wildcats (PA) of the USL A League. Following 3 years in the A-League he went on to spend 8 seasons in the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) and finished playing for the Baltimore Blast (MD).

Coach Scheer has been an assistant coach at Las Positas College since 2016, where the team has made the playoffs every season, and in 2017 the team went undefeated in league play and finished that year ranked 16th in the nation. He is also involved locally at the youth level as he currently coaches at Ballistic United in Pleasanton and previously coached at Livermore Fusion.
