Kyle Robinson joined the Hawks’ coaching staff in 2011 as the assistant coach while concurrently coaching Track and Field at LPC’s sister college, Chabot. Since joining the Cross Country and Track programs in 2011, Kyle has coached 7 Conference champions in Cross Country/Track, 3 Northern California champions in the middle and long distances, and 4 All-Americans.
In addition to his coaching duties, Kyle is also a Kinesiology and Physical Education instructor within the Las Positas-Chabot Community College District.
Kyle was born and raised in Hayward and was an All-American 800-meter runner and Coast Conference champion at Chabot. He continued his academic and running career at CSU Chico where he contributed to two team conference championships. He won an All-Conference award during a CSU Chico first- through fifth-place sweep in the 2009 800-meter CCAA Championships.
Kyle continued to complete his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga.
