O'Donnell Named Scholar All-American
Women's soccer midfielder Irie O'Donnell was named a Scholar All-American, being selected to the United Soccer Coaches First Team.
A sophomore from Dougherty Valley High in San Ramon, O'Donnell maintained 4.00 GPA while majoring in Kinesiology. O'Donnell was just one of eleven 1st Team Scholar All-American selections by the United Soccer Coaches.
On the pitch, she started 21 games for the Hawks, scoring 2 goals while serving up 5 assists. O'Donnell was named 1st team All-Coast Conference this season. A year ago, she scored 3 goals with 4 assists on the way to be named as an All-Coast Conference Honorable Mention.
This year's All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
