1st place CCSF routs Hawks

After winning 10 straight games, LPC suffered its second consecutive loss Friday night, getting blown out by CCSF 97-44 in a Coast Conference North Division game in San Francisco.

The 53-point defeat is the worst loss in Hawks' history. The previous largest margin of defeat was 37 points in 2007 when LPC lost to CCSF 95-58.

The Hawks (13-7, 3-2) trailed 37-23 at halftime before the Rams ran away with the second half to win its 12th game in a row. LPC entered ranked #14 in the state and #7 in Northern California.

Cameron Moses led the Hawks in scoring with 9 points. Brandon Eboigbodin had 7 points and 13 rebounds.

CCSF, meanwhile, improved to 21-1 overall and 5-0 in conference. The Rams are the #2-ranked team in the state and #1 in Northern California.

LPC's next game is Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. against Skyline in Livermore.
