The California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association released their 2024-25 Academic All-State Team this past Monday.

"Jaden has been fantastic on both sides of the floor," Las Positas head coach James Giacomazzi said. "He's been our leading scorer consistently this season, bringing a lot to the team, a lot of leadership, not only as a captain, but also as president of the A2MEND Program on our campus."
The A2MEND Program offers mentor relationship building that improves educational outcomes, graduation, transfer, and persistence rates, according to the college.
"He's doing real, real well academically," the coach continued. "He's creating a lot of opportunities and avenues for academic four-year institutions for next year. Hopefully, he can can keep it going and we can keep it going."
"We're very happy about all our of kids that make Academic All American and Academic All State, just like we would in terms of an athletic award being All State as well," Giacomazzi said.
The LPC program has produced about 25 Academic All State athletes, "and we take great pride in that," Giacomazzi said.
