The No. 19-state ranked Las Positas College men's basketball team will head into the Thanksgiving break on a winning note after defeating Cabrillo College by a final score of 66-65 in overtime on Wednesday night in Livermore.
The Hawks have won six straight and improved to 6-1 overall.
Jordahn Johnson posted a double-double for LPC with his team-leading 17 points and 10 rebounds. Brandon Fisher added 13 points and 6 rebounds while Domonick Victor chipped in with 12 points and 8 rebounds.
The Hawks return to action on Dec. 2 when they will compete at the three-day James Clark Classic at Cosumnes River College. Las Positas is set to face Fresno City College in the opener at 3 p.m.
