Johnson 41 points leads No. 5 Las Positas to huge 117-75 win over Ohlone

LIVERMORE --- Jordahn Johnson went off for a career-high 41 points to help lead No. 5 state-ranked Las Positas College to a much-needed bounce-back win, a 117-75 rout of visiting Ohlone College on Friday night.

The Hawks were coming off a tough loss to No. 1 City College of San Francisco on Wednesday and appear to be back on track towards their run to the postseason.

Johnson took over in Friday's contest, shooting 20 for 22 from the field. He also grabbed 15 rebounds to record his 10th double-double of the season.

Jorren Edmonds posted a double-double of his own with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Lee Jones, Jr. totaled 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists while Nikko Echalas had 9 points and 10 rebounds.

Las Positas improved to 17-2 overall and 4-1 in Coast Conference North Division play. The Hawks next host Skyline College in a 5 p.m. conference game on Monday (Jan. 31).
