While the NorCal Regional Qualifier was going on last Saturday at The Nest, a second competition was also taking place, the Coast Conference Diving Finals and it was dominated by the Hawks.

The women swept the 3M competition taking 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd, while in the 1M competition they came out with a 1, 2, 4, 5 finish. The men had a 2^nd and 3^rd place finish in the 3M and found nearly the same results in the 1M, with their top divers taking home 3^rd and 4^th place.

Laina Stifter won the conference championship in both the 1M 242.95 pts and 3M board 245.55 pts. Coming in second in both events was teammate Ainsley Wade who scored 217.65 points in the 1M and 209.65 in the 3M. Jayden Helm had her highest finish in the 3M finishing with a final tally of 174.60 which was good for 3^rd place. It was a 4^th place finish in the 1M, coming up  ahead of Ariana Leyva's 144.80 point 5^th place performance. Caroline Forde finished in 8^th place in the 3M while Maggie Wilmott placed 10^th in the 1M.

Brady McNeil was the top placer for the men's squad, with a 140.05 point 2^nd place finish in the 3M and 141.75 3^rd place effort in the 1M. Drew Baker placed third in the 3M and 4^th in the 1M.  Other notable finishes include a 6^th place finish by Jacob Niles in the 3M, with teammates Aaron Grundler and Nick Thompson right behind him for 7^th and  8^th.

The points earned from the competition will be added to results from the men's and women's swimming finals, which take place April 16-18 at De Anza College, which will be used to determine the Coast Conference Swim and Dive Team Champion. The women are they defending champion, and the men won it all two years ago.
