Hawks lose to CCSF in home finale

City College of San Francisco wrapped up an undefeated Coast Conference North Division season Wednesday night with a 78-32 victory over LPC in Livermore.

CCSF, ranked #2 in Northern California, finished 12-0 in conference and 25-3 overall. The Rams also ran their winning streak to 14 games.

The Hawks (13-14, 2-9), meanwhile, conclude their season Friday with a 7 p.m. game at Skyline.

Wednesday night’s game wasn’t competitive as CCSF ran out to a 23-8 first quarter lead, then expanded its advantage to 38-13 at halftime. The Rams’ second-half lead was never in doubt.

Jasmine Odell led the Hawks with 10 points. Teammate Erika Duarte added 8.

The highlight of the evening came at halftime when LPC Coach Clarence Morgan honored his 6 sophomores who were playing in their final home game: Odell, Duarte, Sarah Rodriguez, Cayla Nava, Chelsea Bantley, and Kristjan Aubry.
