LPC dug itself a 16-point halftime hole that it couldn't climb out of Wednesday night and lost 83-57 at San Jose City College in a Coast Conference North Division game.
The Hawks (13-11, 2-6), who fell behind 46-28 after two quarters, were led by Cayla Nava's 16 points. Brianna Gay added 12 points and 8 rebounds, and Erika Duarte totaled 10 points and 5 rebounds.
With the victory, San Jose City improved to 10-12 overall and 5-3 in the conference.
LPC's next game is Friday at 5 p.m. against Chabot in Hayward. Chabot is 12-12 and 5-3, ranked #15 in Northern California.
